ask the library -- lending services -- reference services -- reprographic-services -- documents
Upon request, the PNP Library will perform research on a given problem from the field of Czech literature from the end of the 18th century until present.
- research work is made using own resources (catalogues and databases) and resources accessible from the library via internet
- the completion date for such research work largely depends on the complexity and scope of the task and must be agreed individually
The PNP Library has been creating an information system, which it makes available to users in the form of various kinds of catalogues - both card catalogues and electronic catalogues.
The staff-in-charge at the study hall provides the general public with information of factual, bibliographical, and library-oriented character, be it oral, by phone, or in writing, as well as with methodological assistance in retrieving the requested documents. For enquiries, you may also use the "Ask the Library" service.
We answer the following types of enquiries:
- information on catalogues and databases

- information on the availability of resources
- locating and retrieving information - catalogue searches
- information by, and consultation with, the curators of subcollections 18 and 19
